Robust
NLOS Wireless Networking
Prince Edge is supporting TrellisWare Technologies to define products and market
their Topological eXtreme (TopX) technology into a variety of
mobile ad hoc network markets required to operate in severely
degraded and demanding multi-path (real-world) environments. Based
on TrellisWare Technologies proprietary and patented deep signal
processing techniques, TopX provides the capability for high-dynamic,
full-mesh connectivity of low-latency multi-hop voice and high
rate IP-centric data. Waveform design efficiencies support the
development of small hand-held, battery-powered end user products.
TopX does not require any other infrastructure to deploy or operate
the network such as cellular base stations or towers - with TopX
you take the network with you. Extensive field testing with the
US Government has repeatedly demonstrated TopX's superior robustness
and operational performance in head-to-head comparisons with other
competing tactical communication and wireless networking systems.
Solid-State
Spatial Power Amplifiers
Prince Edge has been engaged by Wavestream to provide
services in support of the development and marketing of products
based on Wavestream’s licensed and patented solid-state spatial
power amplifier technology. Spatial power combining uses an array
of amplifying elements spatially combined in a single step to
provide a coherent output beam achieving much higher output power
levels without loss of efficiency in the microwave and millimeter-wave
bands. Spatial power combining results are a dramatic reduction
in size, weight and power consumption when compared to other competing
solid-state amplifier and tube technologies. Applications and
markets include radar, imaging, communications and directed-energy.
